FieldScope Seasonal Visualization

The National Geographic FieldScope program provides free, web-based mapping, data analysis and visualization tools to the public – including educators such as yourself. These tools are a great way to engage the public, students, and citizen scientists in working with spatial data (data collected at particular locations).

Using Project BudBurst data, the FieldScope Seasonal Visualization Tool allows you to look at green-up (events that occur in the spring) and brown-down (events that occur in the fall) phenophase events as they have been observed over time.
